How to install iOS 11 Emoji on Android devices

Method 1: for all devices via TWRP recovery

The zip file previously downloaded is ready for recovery.

  1. Copy the downloaded zip file to your device.
  2. Restart via TWRP Recovery.
  3. Install the zip file.
  4. Restart.

Method 2: Manual method for all Android devices

  1. Extract the downloaded zip file.
  2. In one of the extracted folders, you will find a file called NotoColorEmoji.ttf.
  3. Go to the /system/fonts folder.
  4. Here you will find a file called “NotoColorEmoji.ttf” already present. Back up your folder somewhere on your phone [copy/paste to another location].
  5. Copy the downloaded “NotoColorEmoji.ttf” file and paste it into the /system/fonts folder.
  6. Set the appropriate permissions: rw-rr- or 0644.
  7. Restart.
  8. Done!

Method 3: Manual method only for Samsung devices

  1. Extract the downloaded zip file.
  2. In one of the extracted folders, you’ll find a file called NotoColorEmoji.ttf or SamsungColorEmoji.ttf.
  3. Go to the /system/fonts folder.
  4. Here you will find a file called “NotoColorEmoji.ttf” already present. Back up your folder somewhere on your phone [copy/paste to another location].
  5. Copy the downloaded “NotoColorEmoji.ttf” file and paste it into the/system/fonts folder.
  6. Rename ‘NotoColorEmoji.ttf‘ to ‘SamsungColorEmoji.ttf‘.
  7. Set the appropriate permissions: rw-rr- or 0644.
  8. Restart.
  9. Done!
