Disable musical.ly account
Deleting a musical.ly account is a procedure that takes only a few minutes and permanently deletes all data associated with your account, including purchased products. The operation is irreversible and in case of change of mind it will no longer be possible to access your account and retrieve the information.
If you are not convinced to permanently delete your musical.ly account, you can choose a less drastic solution and temporarily disable your profile that will remain accessible in case of future changes. In reality, however, on musical.ly there is no function to deactivate your account, but you can still make it inactive by turning off notifications and setting the private profile.
To do so, start the application musical.ly pressing on its icon (a red circle on a white background ) in the home screen of your device and, if you have not already done so, log into your account by pressing the icon of the man present at the bottom right, then tap on the Log In item, enter your credentials in the Username or email and Password fields and press the Login button.
Now, tap on the little man icon in the bottom menu and press the gear wheel icon in the upper right corner, then select the Settings item and tap on the Privacy Settings option. To make your account inactive, move the levers next to the items Allow contacts to find me and Private account from ON to OFF, press on the option Who can send comments and affix the check mark next to the OFF and repeat the procedure for the options Who can duet with me and Who can send me messages.
Finally, tap the arrow icon to the left to return to the previous screen, presses the Push notifications item and move the paddles next to the items New fans, New likes to my video and New comments to my video to turn off notifications.
Delete musical.ly accounts from smartphones and tablets
If you are convinced of your choice and do not intend to continue your musical.ly experience, you can delete musical.ly accounts from smartphones and tablets.
As mentioned above, this operation is irreversible and you will no longer be able to access the service with your credentials. If you prefer to delete musical.ly accounts from your computer, you should know that you can do so by accessing the Support section of the official musical.ly website. The procedure is almost identical to what previously described for smartphones and tablets.
In this case, in fact, you need to take a screenshot of your profile after logging in: before you can delete your musical.ly account, you must then log in to your account through the app installed on your smartphone or tablet, make the screenshot and transfer it to your computer.
If despite the procedure is not convenient, you still prefer to cancel your account musical.ly, start the browser you usually use to browse the Internet and connected to the website of the service. Click, then, on the Support item present at the bottom of the Community option.
Now, click on My Account and Settings and scroll down the page, then select the Delete account option and click on the item Submit a ticket here to access the form to request cancellation of your account.
To send the request to delete your profile, enter your nickname (including the @) in the Username field, type your email address in the Contact Email Address field and click the Choose file button to upload the screenshot of your account. Uninstall musical.ly
After deleting your account, you just have to uninstall musical.ly from your device. If you have a smartphone or tablet equipped with Android, access the drawer (the screen where there are the icons of all the apps) and press on the icon of musical.ly for a couple of seconds until the Uninstall or the trash can icon apperars in the upper left. To uninstall musical.ly from your iPhone or iPad, keep your finger pressed on its icon until the X appears and all apps on the home screen will not start to “move”. Click, then, on the X on the musical.ly icon and tap the Delete button to confirm your intention.
Alternatively, presses the gear wheel icon to access the iOS Settings, tap on the General and Free Space iPhone entries and press on the musical.ly option. Then press the Delete app button to remove the application and all related data and documents.
