The StarSeries i-League PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds tournament will return for a second season. The new season will begin next month, but with a change in format. Now there are two phases of the LAN finals, the group stage and the final phase.

Sixteen teams will take part, according to a press release. Sixteen teams invited, in fact, will participate in the group stage to earn the eight slots for the final event. The other eight slots in the finals, however, will be occupied by the best eight teams in the first season of StarSeries i-League PUBG.

There will also be a $100,000 prize pool up for grabs for the second season. The first prize is the richest one, for a total of $ 50,000.

Season 2 of the StarSeries i-League PUBG will be developed over eight days, with 24 games in the group stage and 24 games in the finals. All matches will be broadcast live on Twitch. The group stage will start on August 25th and will last until August 28th. The finals will be held from August 30th to September 2nd.

Invitations for the second season of StarSeries i-League PUBG have not yet been announced. The first season of the event ended in early March with the Clan FaZe winning the $ 50,000 first prize. Team Liquid, Team Vitality and Cloud9 complete the first four classifieds of the season.

We also remind you of another very important event dedicated to PlayersUnknown’s Battlegrounds: the PUBG Invitational 2018, a world-wide event (with two million dollars in prize pools) to be held in Berlin from 24 to 29 July and we will tell you, as always, about these pages.
