iOS 12.1.2 causes problems with 4G in some iPhones : Solution

On Tuesday, Apple released iOS 12.1.2 for all users who are already compatible with iOS 12. The update solved problems with eSIM on iPhones XR, XS and XS Max, but also brought problems to reception of data via 4G on some devices.

iOS 12.1.2 causes problems in 4G of some iPhones

According to some complaints on Twitter, the iPhone no longer receives data via mobile networks and this continued even when the device is formatted – preventing the phone from being activated, which is a requirement to continue the initial configuration of iOS.

The curious thing is that Apple brought iOS 12.1.2 for everyone, after problems with connection of the newer devices in Turkey. Correcting this point there, apparently the problem has spread to other places in the world. The Forbes also notes that even connections can not be made, making the iPhone into a modern iPod Touch.

Apple has not yet commented on the issues on the handsets and the assistance only suggests that the smartphone be formatted – which did not work. I’m with an iPhone XR and with version 12.1.2 installed, without any problem with 4G.

Since there is still no other update available to fix the problem and it can appear to anyone, the tip I let is to wait until another iOS appears before updating the device.
