Battlefield 5 Game
Set during the Second World War, the title will lead us to experience first hand the events of the world during those shocking events that formed the basis of what is the modern war.
Although there are now many video games on the market to have faced this conflict, the idea behind the creation of DICE offers a completely different experience. In fact, you can experience World War II from a historical perspective, regardless of which character you choose.
And it will no longer be necessary to pay additional money to get new game maps and additional packages: there will not be any Premium Pass, all players will have access to the same map and mode, keeping the community together as they progress through the game.
In terms of narrative and campaign, the same modality seen in the previous chapter returns, in which we will be able to live several separate stories as the conflict goes on and hits the various nations. A narration that promises to be more dramatic and moved by human emotions.
Despite the return to the origins, the news are many and everything seems to turn around a player-centric experience that will have maximum freedom of expression in terms of progression and customization.
At the base of everything there will be our company, soldiers that we can choose, evolve and customize during the whole game experience, so as to have a very strong bond with them.
Our real weapon is the soldiers we will choose, with their statistics, their stories and their specializations. When choosing a soldier to be included in our company we will have the possibility to choose the physical aspect, the face, the sex, the uniform, possible war paintings, aesthetic accessories. The same system is applied to both weapons and vehicles.
Furthermore, the DICE team has well thought of introducing archetypes into the classes. Each of these, in addition to having a series of statistics and determined perk, will have a progression system that will lead us to unlock weapons and equipment suited to our style of play. To complete the system of progression, the daily challenges and some special challenges (which will take several days to complete) to unlock the most powerful and exclusive equipment.
Among other novelties, the total destruction based on physics returns: a wagon that invests a structure will cause the collapse that will be calculated in real time and each time will be different. Back of the drilling of projectiles for light machine guns and turrets. It will be possible to add defenses and place fixed turrets in case you want to defend a certain point of the map.
Returning to the origins, the indicators above the enemies disappear: the clashes will now be based only on team communication and observation skills.
Immersiveness will be a key element of the whole experience of the new DICE title: for example, a sniper who moves in the grass will cause the vegetation to move and become much more visible if it moves.
Much attention has been paid to the animations: depending on the material on which you are walking, the soldiers will adapt their ability to move.
The changes made to the respawn dynamics are also interesting. Now all players can revive others; the difference compared to a doctor is the speed of resuscitation and the actual amount of life restored.
In the event that you die at a particularly dangerous point, the other teammates will be able to drag us out of the battle and then start taking care of us.
Although medical kits are present (as in the other chapters), it will be necessary to interact with them for treatment, but 100% of life will never be restored.
To favor the team play, the teams that are able to complete particular objectives and contribute positively to their faction are rewarded with particularly powerful equipment or vehicles specially designed to give their best with a united and coordinated team.
Subtitled Times of War, Battlefield 5 will include events and new ways to play like Grand Operations, while you can unlock the latest rewards as weapons and vehicles to further modify your company.
The multiplayer modes will be new and classic: among these, the Company mode that will allow you to create and modify your own soldiers, weapons and vehicles that will evolve in every way during the game; the 64-player Conquest mode with the multiplayer that culminates in Grand Operations, a completely new live mode and an overall emphasis on team play.
In fact, each time you enter a game, you will enter a team and you can communicate with the group at any time, via chat or VoIP. There will be incentives to entice players to take on the role of team leader and many rewards to encourage collaboration between members of each team. It will still be possible to play solo, even if more difficult.
According to The Verge, in Battlefield 5, DICE has decided to embrace the concept of scarcity. Entering a new battle the user will in fact have a limited amount of ammunition and resources, and in the long term this will affect the way you play.
The concept of Scarcity also raises the importance of playing well in the team as it will be possible to supply their teammates at any time, with their own resources.
