The Huawei P40 should get triple rear cameras, unlike the possible set of five or seven components of the Pro version of the series. This information was pointed out by the site Gizchina, which published a photo of what supposedly would be the photographic feature module of the phone. From this, there is also the space for a possible double LED flash, as well as two cutouts for unknown sensors.
Remember, though, that respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed last month that the Huawei P40 should get at least one 5x periscopic lens. However, too much detail about the camera’s camera functionality remains a mystery. As for hardware, other rumors indicate that it could receive Kirin 990 processor with support for 5G network.
Variants and advertisement
A new leak from the RODENT 50 leaker suggests that Huawei would release four variants of the P40 family in 2020, consisting of three top-of-the-line plus one more “economical” versions, which could be named as: P40, P40 Pro, P40 Lite and P40 Max or Porsche Edition.
As a result, the Chinese company would adopt a similar strategy to Samsung and Apple to offer a range of advanced phones with different configurations and price ranges. Other rumors also point out that the P40 line will be announced in March this year. Until then, one of Huawei’s challenges will be bringing Google apps back to their phones.
