The fight against spam is never endless and with the introduction of CAPTCHA was given a blow to bots and automated systems that were responsible for sending request by filling in forms automatically and randomly to clog the emails of various web services.
CAPTCHA, an acronym for Completely Automated Public Test Turing to Tell Computers and Humans Apart, evolves from version to version and Google has introduced reCAPTCHA v3, which is the new version of Big G’s anti-spam system.
reCAPTCHA v3 aims to optimize and reduce the human interaction by analyzing the behavior already done previously and the client used to reduce the user’s action with a percentage close to zero.
Differences in reCAPTCHA
- reCAPTCHA v1 Recognition and typing of text displayed on screen with masked characters
- reCAPTCHA v2 Analyze user usage and if you have already used Spam services and do not show any questions.
- reCAPTCHA v3 A score is assigned to each client and the webmaster sets the threshold for which the user is considered a bot or not and authorize it. Based on the inserted score, it will be possible to activate two-factor authentication or confirm via telephone.
