PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live had revealed their lists of free games for the month of April. PlayStation 4 owners will be able to play The Surge and Conan Exiles, while subscribers to the Xbox One service will have access to The Technomancer, Outcast: Second Contact and two other titles for Xbox 360 and the original Xbox.

The Surge
The game developed by Deck13 follows the same line of titles as Dark Souls, Bloodborne and the new Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, where combat requires a lot of attention and precise commands. The great difference is due to the ambiance, which leaves aside the traditional medieval climate and bet on futuristic scenarios, with the right to giant laboratories and robots.
Conan Exiles
Inspired by the barbarian warrior universe, the Funcom game allows players to create their own characters and try to survive in a world filled with dangers and other users. It is possible to build villages to protect and ambush enemies to defeat them.
Xbox Live
The Technomancer
The science fiction RPG published by Focus Home Interactive takes players to Mars, where they can join their allies and face mutant creatures. The Technomancer’s highlight is for a stuffed tree of skills, which is separated into four parts and allows custom builds for your avatar.
Outcast: Second Contact
Remake of the classic adventure game of 1999, Second Contact bets on mechanics similar to those seen in the original title and a new outfit to attract new and old players. It is possible to explore the world freely and perform more than 100 missions, which involve battles, puzzles and other discoveries.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 2: Advanced Warfighter
The game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 2: Advanced Warfighter 2007 for Xbox 360 just joined the backwards compatibility list of Xbox One, and can be played on the latest Microsoft platform. Advanced Warfighter is a modern military FPS that combines advanced tactical choices and action.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 (Xbox)
Another classic compatible with Xbox One thanks to backward compatibility, Battlefront 2 arrived in 2005 and is one of the most celebrated titles in the series. Its online battles faithfully replicate the excitement of the clashes seen in the movies, and are fun and intense almost 15 years after its original release.
