The Xbox One X is the end table console of Microsoft and the only in market capable of rendering games 4K, HDR10 and 60 frames per second in real time. The problem, however, is that most of their games do not implement all of this.
Older titles aimed at the original Xbox One or Xbox One S make use of a feature called supersampling, which improves the graphics quality on Xbox One X. However, there are some games that were already developed with 4K and HDR10 in mind and with graphics packages optimized for the most powerful console.
How to download 4K packages from games to Xbox One X
Although Xbox One X will be able to download the optimization package for 4K and HDR the moment you run the game for the first time, the smartest thing to do is download them at the time of installation. These packages have several GBs in size, and depending on your internet connection, they can take a long time to complete.
- Press the Xbox button;
- Go to “Settings” and “System”;
- Finally, “Back up and transfer”;
- Check the box “Download 4K game content first”;
- Go back to the previous screen, and select “Updates”;
- Check “Keep my console up to date”
and “Keep my games and apps up to date”.
Every time you install an optimized game, the system will download the package automatically.
