Many web pages use a font that is too small, which makes reading articles, guides and texts extensive and tiring for the eyes. Fortunately, all the most popular web browsers offer an integrated zoom function that allows you to correct the problem. So let’s see how to enlarge the characters of web pages with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge
Enlarge the characters of the web browser from the keyboard
Fortunately, all the main web browsers in circulation have been standardized and allow to enlarge and reduce the size of the characters through the same keyboard combinations:
Ctrl++
: zoom in (enlarge font size)Ctrl+-
: zoom out (reduce font size)Ctrl+0
(is a “zero”, not the letter “O”): restores the default zoom level
note: with these writes it means “to press the key Ctrl
on the keyboard and, without releasing it, press the following key”. For example: Ctrl++
stands for “press the key Ctrl
on the keyboard and, without releasing it, press the key +
“.

Alternatively, we can have the same effect through the mouse wheel ( scroller ). To activate the zoom with the mouse simply hold down the key Ctrl
