Frequently Asked Questions

How do I scan a LEGO set? Open the app, tap the Scanner tab, and point your camera at any LEGO barcode on the box. BrickWorth reads it instantly and shows you the current market price. You can also tap “Enter Set Number” to type it manually.

Where do the prices come from? BrickWorth pulls real-time pricing data from multiple sources including BrickLink and eBay completed listings. Prices reflect what collectors are actually paying, not just retail sticker prices.

How do I add a set to my collection? After scanning or viewing any set, tap “Add to Collection.” Choose the condition (New Sealed, Used, Incomplete), enter what you paid, and save. Your collection value updates automatically as prices change.

How do price alerts work? Go to the Alerts tab and tap the + button. Search for any set, set a target price, and choose “Below” (buy signal) or “Above” (sell signal). BrickWorth checks prices regularly and notifies you when your target is hit.

Is my data private? Yes. Your collection data and scan history are stored locally on your device. No account is required to use BrickWorth. We don’t sell or share your personal data.

Do I need an account? No. BrickWorth works without any sign-up or login. Just download and start scanning.

What currencies are supported? BrickWorth supports USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, DKK, SEK, CHF, JPY, and MXN. You can change your currency in Settings.

Is BrickWorth affiliated with LEGO? No. BrickWorth is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the LEGO Group. LEGO is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies.

Troubleshooting

Prices show as unavailable This can happen if the pricing server is temporarily busy. Pull down to refresh, or try again in a few minutes. Make sure you have an internet connection.

Camera isn’t working Go to your device Settings → BrickWorth and make sure Camera access is enabled. If it’s already on, try force-quitting and reopening the app.

App is running slowly Try force-quitting the app and restarting it. If you have a very large collection (100+ sets), the initial price load may take a moment.

Important Note: BrickWorth stores your collection data locally on your device. Deleting the app will remove all your data including your collection, alerts, and scan history. Please keep this in mind before uninstalling.
