How to have Fossil Pokémon in Sword and Shield: here’s where to capture Arctovis, Arctozolt, Dracozolt and Racovish and complete Galar’s Pokédex.
Pokémon Sword and Shield once again present fossils in their own games, with prehistoric Pokémon ready to awaken and take to the field. For the eighth generation on Nintendo Switch their achievement has changed slightly, so it is useful to know what to do to get Arctovis, Arctozolt, Dracozolt and Racovish.
Whoever wants to complete Galar’s Pokédex cannot help but brush up on his skills as a palaeontologist and search for the Sword and Shield Prehistoric Pokémon. But where are they and how are they captured? Are there any exclusives per version? Here’s all you need to know.
Pokémon Sword and Shield: fossils, what they are and where to find them
In Pokémon Sword and Shield we have a total of four fossils, two for each title. In the first it is possible to have the Orintofossile and the Plesiofossil while in the second the Dracofossil and the Ittiofossil. eskort seyhan
Continuing in the game history and arriving at Route 6 you will meet a character, Cara Liss, or the expert on Galar fossils. Next to this character you will find your first fossil, while in the Pokémon Center immediately afterwards a man will give you the second one. Everything is ready: now you are able to general your Pokémon that will be awakened and will become part of your team (or can be transferred to the Box).
The four new Galar fossil Pokémon
But the Pokémon that can be obtained by version are two: to have the other one you will have to turn to the pair of miners located in the southernmost area of the Wilds. These characters will ask you for 500 Watts (currency obtainable from the Raid Dynamax and some wild Pokémon wrapped in a special aura) in exchange for some artifacts found during their work and among the objects given in return you will also find the other fossils present in the game.
Sword and Shield Pokémon: how to get Arctovis, Arctozolt, Dracozolt and Racovish from fossils
There are four different combinations of fossils found in the game to get one of the four prehistoric Pokémon in the game. In Sword you will immediately get Arctozolt mind in Dracovish Shield. Here are what they are:
- Arctrovish: is obtained by combining Ornithofossil and Ittiofossil
- Arctozolt: is obtained by combining Ornithofossil and Plesiofossil
- Dracovish: is obtained by combining Dracofossil and Ittiofossil
- Dracozolt: is obtained by combining Dracofossil and Plesiofossil.
