CS GO  or Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is the fourth and most recent title of the Counter-Strike franchise, having been released in 2012 for Windows, MacOS, PS3 and Xbox 360 and in 2014 for Linux. It is no longer updated in the versions of consoles, that have lost the functionalities online and only allow to play against the computer (bots). Still, both continue to sell for $30.99 (PS3) and $30 (Xbox 360).

The computer version is free to play since 2018 and receives constant updates, including the recent Battle Royale mode introduced in the Danger Zone update. Therefore, to have the complete experience you need to play via Windows, MacOS or Linux.

  1. Go to store.steampowered.com and log in to your account;
  2. Include GO CS for free in your account;
  3. Open Steam on your computer and install the game.

By PlayStation Store (PS3)
