Short news to signal to all users in possession of the Nintendo Switch console that fortunately it will be possible to play at Fortnite without having to subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online.
Many players were afraid of having to subscribe (and pay) a subscription to play Fortnite on Nintendo Switch Online, but fortunately in recent days the official denial came.
It will therefore be possible to play Fortnite on Nintendo Switch completely free of charge.
The paid subscription to Nintendo Switch Online will be necessary to play other titles, but not for Fortnite.
Just to give some examples, the subscription to Nintendo Switch Online will be necessary to play the online sector of games such as Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, ARMS and Super Smash Bros.
All this, as anticipated, does not apply to Fortnite, which can be played without a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online.
