This means that if you already have a copy of Instagram on your smartphone, you need to open the section of the App Store or Google Play dedicated to updates and upgrade Instagram from there.

Once the app is installed or updated, all you need to do to record videos with Instagram is to press the button with the camera at the bottom and select the camera icon on the screen that opens. Then press the REC button to shoot your video and remove your finger from the screen when you want to stop recording.

You can make a video of up to 60 seconds, but you can divide it into several sections.

This means that after shooting a few seconds of footage and having removed your finger from the REC button, you can resume recording in other situations up to the maximum duration of 60 seconds.

To delete a section of video that did not come well, all you have to do is press the button located at the bottom left and confirm the operation by pressing the trash icon that appears instead of the cross.

You can also focus on precise points of the frame, touching with your finger the item to bring out in the shots, and switch from the back to the front camera by pressing the camera icon at the top of the screen.

Once the video is completed, press the Forward button located at the top right and select the special effects which you want to apply to the shooting using the icons at the bottom of the screen.

Help yourself with the preview of the movie updated in real time to choose the filter that best suits your tastes.

After choosing which effect to apply to the video ( if you want to use someone, it is not mandatory ), press Next and select the frame to use as a cover, ie as a preview image of the video.

Finally, press once again on Next and share your short multimedia work selecting the social networks you want to publish it (as well as on Instagram itself, of course ).
