The red orbs are the historic in-game currency of Devil May Cry. With the release of Devil May Cry 5 the tradition has not been lost, so it will be up to the players to accumulate as much as possible to get new skills and upgrades.
The purpose of this guide is to illustrate a method that will allow you to collect a lot of it as quickly as possible.
The first method to start with a nice amount of Red Orb is surely to play the Devil May Cry 5 demo before diving into the adventure itself. The “bad” news is that Capcom has made the demo no longer playable, but if you have already blown it in the past and you still have the save with the completed demo you can use it to earn 30,000 orbs I’m not bad for a start.
If you haven’t played the demo, don’t despair. Your departure will not be favored as it will not initially be easy to accumulate orbs but strive to get the most out of mission assessments so that you are rewarded properly. If during the combos you manage to keep the average of the rank S the quantity of the dropped orbs will increase. Hold on until mission 13. At this point you can use Faust with Dante. Spend the Red Orbs you own to upgrade it as this weapon will play a key role in the strategy, increasing the drop rates of the orbs themselves. The most suitable point for them will be at the end of mission 13: you will come to the point where you will have to destroy four blood clots. Near these clots the enemies will repulse very quickly and you can earn a lot of orbs. To keep the combo level up, equip the guns (with Faust at level 4 at least) and lock the target on the enemies, continuing to shoot without stopping. Once you get them out, start from the last checkpoint and go back to the clots again. Repeat the procedure until you are satisfied.
