How to save PDF on Chrome

If you usually use the popular Web browser from Google on your Android device, then you can save a document in PDF format, to be downloaded by a specific page in a simple way. After opening Google Chrome on your smartphone or tablet, simply click on the link containing the document, press the Download button and wait for the download to finish.

At the end, the Portable Document Format will be opened automatically through Chrome and you can view the preview or share it using an external application (eg WhatsApp or Telegram ), open it with an application or print it using a printer. You can even modify it using a specific app by pressing on the pencil at the bottom right (inside a blue circle).

Google Chrome also has an indirect function that allows you to save any Internet page in PDF format. All you have to do is display the content you want to save, press on the 3 dots located at the top right and choose Share … from the menu that appears.

After that, from the Share via screen, choose Print and then press the yellow PDF button located at the top right. In the next step, simply select the folder in which you want to export the file and press the done button at the top right to complete the operation.

How to save PDF on Firefox

Mozilla’s popular browser is one of the best alternatives to Chrome. Compared to the previous one, however, the software implements a really useful feature that allows you to export any type of Web page displayed in PDF format. So, if you want to turn a specific link into PDF, simply open it in Mozilla Firefox, press on the 3 dots on the top right, choose Page and then Save as PDF from the menu that appears.

How to save PDF on Google Drive

If you use the cloud storage service offered by Big G to save different types of files (including PDFs ), then you can do this very easily. After locating the desired document, downloaded from GmailChromeMozilla Firefox or any other application, simply open it via the Drive PDF Viewer or any other application and identify the Save in Drive command on the Share screen.

For example, if you use the Drive PDF Viewer, just click on the Drive icon with the + located in the upper right corner, set the Google account where to save the file and the folder and press Save on the bottom right to complete the operation. If you want to download a PDF file from Gmail and save it on Google Drive, instead, you have to scroll to the bottom of the message screen and press the Drive icon in the attachment box.

Alternatively, you can directly load a Portable Document Format from the official app of the cloud storage service by pressing the + button at the bottom right, tap on Load from the New screen that appears, press the PDF you want to upload and wait the upload you can follow through the progress bar in the notification bar.

Obviously, the same steps are also applicable for other cloud storage platforms such as OneDriveDropbox and Box. Simply press the corresponding command on the Share screen (eg Add to Dropbox or OneDrive ).

How to save PDF on Gmail

If you use the Google e-mail client to manage your e-mail addresses, then you can easily download a PDF document to the internal memory of your Android smartphone or tablet by following a few simple steps.

After opening the e-mail containing the attachment in this format, just scroll down and tap the arrow pointing down in the box dedicated to the PDF file to proceed with the download. Alternatively, as indicated in the previous paragraphs, you can save the document directly on Google Drive by pressing on its icon.

Instead, if you use Microsoft’s e-mail client to manage your e-mails, simply open the message containing the PDF attachment and tap once on the file name that appears just below the sender’s e-mail, name and address.
