Mac, MacBook And iMac Compatible With macOS Mojave: Complete List

macOS Mojave: here is the list of compatible devices. Which Mac, MacBook and iMac are compatible with MacOS Mojave? Is my Mac compatible with macOS Mojave? Can I install MacOS Mojave on my Mac, MacBook and iMac?

Mac, MacBook and iMac compatible with macOS Mojave: here’s what

macOS Mojave: here is what Macs can be installed.

As usual, after seeing all the news of macOS Mojave , we see the complete list of Apple computers (Mac, MacBook and iMac) that will be compatible with this new operating system.

Here is the complete list of devices that will receive the update to MacOS Mojave:

  • MacBook (early 2015 or newer)
  • MacBook Air (mid 2012 or newer)
  • MacBook Pro (mid 2012 or newer)
  • Mac mini (Late 2012 or newer)
  • iMac (end of 2012 or more recent)
  • iMac Pro (2017)
  • Mac Pro (late 2013, in addition to mid-2010 models and mid-2012 models with Metal-compatible GPU)

As for the Mac Pro 2010 and 2012 models, however, Apple has announced that the support will not be available immediately, but that will arrive “in a next beta”.

The exclusion of older Mac models is probably due to Metal GPU technology, which requires more powerful graphics capabilities.

Is your Mac, MacBook or iMac not listed?

Compared to High Sierra, the update presented today by Apple eliminates support for the old MacBook and MacBook Pro, Air, mini and iMac models of 2009, 2010 and 2011.

If your device is not in this list, unfortunately it will not be possible to upgrade it to macOS Mojave.

Evidently it is too old and not very powerful and Apple has chosen not to upgrade it to MacOS Mojave.

So you should start looking around: you will need to buy a new Mac, MacBook or iMac if you want to continue to exploit the Apple ecosystem.
