Octopath Traveler for Nintendo Switch will be released on July 13 but Famitsu has already had the opportunity to examine the game in depth and the first review will be published in the new issue of the magazine arriving tomorrow in Japan. Thanks to the usual leaks, however, we can discover in advance the reception reserved for the JRPG Square-Enix.
Definitely positive reception, the editors of Famitsu have rewarded the game with a vote of 36/40(9/9/9/9), very close to the Perfect Score (40/40). The text of the review is not available at the moment, as the magazine has not yet come out in the Japanese newsstands, surely we will know more in the day tomorrow.

Octopath Traveler will be available on Nintendo Switch from July 13, in Standard and Collector’s edition, the playable demo is now available for download from Nintendo eShop.
