On Fortnite, the gift mode has arrived: this is how it works and how to send and receive gifts in the popular battle royale of Epic Games.
Fortnite updates and introduces the waiting mode dedicated to gifts. The popular game developed by Epic Games, and available for consoles such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices iOS and Android celebrates the milestone of 200 million users by presenting the new feature to the players.
The gift mode confirms the previous rumors, and is available to all users who will download the 6.31 update. But how to send and receive the infamous gifts within the game?
The procedure is not complex at the moment and for the moment it follows some fairly restrictive guidelines (such as the impossibility of having them on iPhone) allowing the possibility to send gifts inside Fortnite by purchasing the items in the official store (after payment of the V -buck, the currency of the game).
Fortnite: how to send gifts
First of all, it is good to know that to send gifts to your friends on Fortnite you will need to access the store in the game and choose which item to buy: keep in mind that you can only buy items on the day you decide to send the gift.
Once the shop is open, select the desired item and then purchase it by pressing “Buy as a gift“. After this, select the player who will receive the gift through the appropriate contact list and send the gift.
To send a gift to a friend on Fortnite you will need to make sure you have been friends with the player for at least 48 hours, otherwise the operation will not be successful: keep the two-factor authentication developed by the game active and follow the required security procedure.
Fortnite grants users to send a gift with a personalized message, to make the thought of your online battleship really unique: the selected user will find your package as a gift as soon as he logs in (accompanied by any text) and a greeting message that you have filled out).
Before purchasing a gift item, please note that there are no refunds and that you can send up to three gifts every 24 hours.
A pretty good feature that comes in time for Christmas parties: sending that skill or that long-awaited boost could be the ideal gift for the hard-hitting gambler of the alluring Battle Royale.
