Kingdom Hearts 3 : Available on PS4 and Xbox One

Square Enix and Disney have announced that Kingdom Hearts 3, the new chapter of the popular action RPG, is now available on PS4 and Xbox One. Both longtime fans and newcomers have the opportunity to follow the adventures of Sora, a young Keyblade hero who has the task of protecting the universe from evil forces known as Heartless.

With the help of the faithful companions of Duck and Goofy, or emissaries sent by King Mickey, Sora will join the most famous characters of Disney and Pixar to try to defeat the darkness and save the universe.

“I’m happy that Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally available,” said Tetsuya Nomura, director of the series. “The story is full of mysteries, so players can take it easy to avoid losing any detail. Adventure is in the journey itself, not just in the final destination. This story is one of the greatest experiences ever experienced by Sora and her friends, so I really hope that the players like it. To all our fans all over the world, thank you for waiting patiently for the arrival of this day.”

“Kingdom Hearts 3 is a continuation of a fantastic long-lasting creative collaboration between Tetsuya Nomura, the worlds and characters of Square Enix and Disney,” added Sean Shoptaw, a former president of the Global Games and Interactive Experiences division, Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products. “The new chapter in this series beloved by fans is the perfect result of our philosophy of combining Disney and Pixar characters and worlds with the best videogame partners and giving them the flexibility to create something magical and unexpected. We are very happy that today fans can finally have fun with this title.”

Kingdom Hearts 3 includes actors’ voice who have given life to the characters in the most beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios. Among those who have returned to impersonate their roles for the video game we find Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff of Frozen, Zachary Levi of Rapunzel, Jamie Chung of Big Hero 6 and others. The opening song of the game, created by Skrillex together with Hikaru Utada and titled “Face My Fears”, is available on the iTunes Store.
