Know how to use more than one WhatsApp account on your computer

The WhatsApp is already part of the personal and professional lives of many. It’s virtually impossible to think about what life would be like without this app, whether for good or for bad, and many people already have more than one account to be in touch with friends and family and work staff.

Since you can only use one account per browser, we’ve put together a few tips for accessing multiple WhatsApp accounts directly from your computer, making everyday life more practical.

The tips below were performed on a Windows 10 PC, but are also valid for previous versions and Mac.

In the browser

In Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla, go to https://web.whatsapp.com/. Read the QR Code with your mobile phone and sign in to your WhatsApp account.

Then open another private browsing window by clicking the menu on the right and “New incognito window”.

Go to the same address and scan the QR code with another WhatsApp account.

If you need to access a third account, use another browser to do the same process. In this case, for example, you could have two accounts open in Chrome and one (or even two) in Explorer.

In-app for PC

There is also the possibility to use WhatsApp’s native app for Windows 10 and macOS. Just search for the app in the search bar and the icon will be displayed. When you click on the icon, the QR code reading screen will appear, just as it does in the browser.

This way you can log in to multiple accounts at once on just one computer.
