The WhatsApp Business is now available on iPhone ( iOS ). The business version of the messenger has arrived on the Apple platform about a year after launch on Android. The application is free and available through TestFlight’s beta testing program. Anyone can sign up and download the app, but the number of spots for testers is limited and can end at any time.
In the following tutorial, check out how to sign up for the testing program and install the WhatsApp Business beta on your iPhone. The procedure was performed on an iPhone 8 with iOS 12, but the tips are valid for any model of the Apple phone.
Step 1. Install the TestFlight application on your iPhone. Then go to testflight.apple.com/join/oscYikr0 and tap “Install” Wait for the application to be downloaded and installed on your phone, then press “Open”;
Step 2. On the WhatsApp Business home screen, tap Accept & Continue. The app will then request access to your contacts and permission to send notifications. Tap “OK” to authorize;
Step 3. The messenger automatically detects your number. If you want to register another phone, touch the option “Use another number” and enter the phone number of your company;
Step 4. If the provided number is registered in WhatsApp on another device, a confirmation message will be displayed. Tap “Continue” and enter the confirmation code received by SMS to continue;
Step 5. Now you have the option to restore the conversations. In this case, tap “Restore Conversation Backup” and wait for the files to be downloaded. When done, touch “Next” in the upper right corner of the screen;
Step 6. Enter the name of your company and select the category. If you want, add a profile photo by tapping on the circle on the left. Finally, touch “OK” in the upper right corner of the screen to complete the registration. From there, it is now possible to start using the beta messenger.
