Fortnite Android: beta available for everyone. Here’s how to play

Let’s go back to talk about Fortnite for Android, the newest game that was among the most anticipated of the year and that since yesterday is finally available on Android.

We have already dedicated several articles to Fortnite for Android, which you can find here in case you missed them:

Today, however, we come back again to talk about Fortnite for Android because finally all owners of compatible Android smartphones can participate in the beta and then start playing the title on their smartphone.

After the exclusive Samsung (only 48 hours), from today all those who have an Android smartphone compatible with the minimum requirements of Fortnite can download and start the game.

But the procedure for using and installing Fortnite on Android is different from normal.

So let’s see how to do it!

Fortnite how to download it on Android

As anticipated, after a brief exclusivity for Samsung terminals of the last generations, Fortnite is now available for several generic Android devices.

But since the game is not on the Play Store, let’s see below how to download it and install it on your device.

How to install Fortnite on Android

At this point, if you have a compatible smartphone, you must know that the operations to be carried out for downloading and installing Fortnite on Android are not the canonical ones.

As anticipated, in fact, Fortnite is not available on the Android Play Store (and it will never be) and then it must be installed in an alternative way.

Nothing complicated anyway.

To get involved in the challenges of the currently most popular Battle Royale you need to get an invitation to participate in the beta phase.

You can do this by entering your email address on the official website pages. You will then receive a message containing the link to download and install the application. Here are the steps explained point by point.

To register for the Fortnite Beta on Android, simply access this web page, both on mobile and on the desktop.

Then you have to click on  “Register to receive the invitation e-mail”  and enter your credentials or those of your Epic account (if you already have one).

By completing the procedure you will be placed on a waiting list and you can pre-load the contents of the game (about 1.9 GB) on your Android smartphone.

Of course if you already play Fortnite on other platforms, you can sync your results to the same account.

For the pre-loading of the contents it is necessary to enable the authorization for the “sideloading” of the applications, since both the Installer and the game contents will be installed by “unauthorized” sources.

The procedure to do this changes from device to device, but the same Epic Games has set up a simple method that accompanies the user in every step.

At this point, to play Fortnite on Android you will need to wait for your turn on the waiting list: in general, just wait a few minutes or 1 hour at most to receive an invitation and play Fortnite for Android.

Done.

It was not so difficult to install Fortnite on Android, right?
